Since 1994\, Elk Grove Park has hosted this beloved festival where giant pumpkin growers compete for the title of biggest gourd — the current record sits at a jaw-dropping 2\,138 pounds. \nBeyond the weigh-off\, expect carnival rides\, food trucks\, craft vendors\, and the always-entertaining Pumpkin Regatta\, where giant pumpkins are carved into canoes and raced across the lake. \n🐾 Good news for pet owners: leashed dogs are welcome at this outdoor festival\, making it an easy addition to your fall weekend plans with your furry family member.
