Elk Grove’s biggest fall tradition is back, and this year you can bring your leashed pup along for the fun. Since 1994, Elk Grove Park has hosted this beloved festival where giant pumpkin growers compete for the title of biggest gourd — the current record sits at a jaw-dropping 2,138 pounds.

Beyond the weigh-off, expect carnival rides, food trucks, craft vendors, and the always-entertaining Pumpkin Regatta, where giant pumpkins are carved into canoes and raced across the lake.

🐾 Good news for pet owners: leashed dogs are welcome at this outdoor festival, making it an easy addition to your fall weekend plans with your furry family member. As always, bring water, waste bags, and be mindful of crowds and carnival noise if your dog is sensitive to either.

Parking is $20, cash only. Free general admission.
